The closed cell foam did exactly what I needed during an outdoor shoot—my knees stayed dry on damp grass for over an hour. It's firm enough to feel supportive, yet doesn't dig in when I'm crouching low for ground-level shots.

I was surprised how much the closed cell foam cushioned my knees during a long garden cleanup session. The mat stayed completely dry even on damp grass, which made kneeling much more comfortable.

Kneeling on wet gravel for an hour of macro shots used to wreck my knees, but the closed cell foam on this mat keeps me dry and cushioned the whole time. It wipes clean with one swipe and hasn't flattened out after a dozen trips.
